First Lady Margaret Kenyatta took the Beyond Zero Campaign to the international forum in the US where she addressed business leaders, investors, students from the global village and residents of Arizona.
Her incisive address focusing on the successes of Beyond Zero initiative and the linkages between businesses and health immediately aroused interest amongst the Diaspora community who committed themselves to start supporting the campaign financially.
Kenya’s Ambassador to the US Njeru Githae said the Kenyan office in Washington DC will immediately commence the necessary process so that the Kenyans in the US can partner with the Beyond Zero Campaign.
In her address at the widely recognised Thunderbird School of Global Management, the First Lady said businesses can do much more than just donate to worthy causes or partner with government.
