The Intergovernmental Authority on Development, IGAD, heads of state, civil society representatives and Non-Governmental Organisations have all agreed on an action plan in addressing the plight of somali refugees.
At the just concluded summit in Nairobi, leaders from the Horn of Africa nations of Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan, South Sudan, Djibouti and Somalia, agreed that the burden of refugees should be shared equitably and not left entirely to the host nations alone.
