The opposition NASA and the Jubilee party are scheduled to hold counter rallies this Sunday in the Coast region.
The NASA team led by ODM party leader Raila Odinga will be at the historic Tononoka grounds in Mombasa County, while their opponents Jubilee party led by Deputy President William Ruto will be at the Malindi Municipal Stadium in Kilifi County where the DP will continue to drum up support for the ruling party ahead of the August polls.
ODM party leader Raila Odinga arrived in the Coastal city of Mombasa early Saturday, where he held a series of meetings and addressed roadside rallies.
And as k24's Chemutai Goin now reports, Coast regional coordinator Nelson Marwa earlier cancelled another Jubilee party rally convened by Gubernatorial Aspirant Suleiman Shahbal which was to be held at the Mvita grounds, citing security concerns.
