Former presidential candidate Abduba Dida has unveiled a new political outfit on which he will use to contest for the top seat in the August 8 poll.
Speaking in Nairobi yesterday, Dida said he will be vying on a Tunza coalition ticket which brings together his Alliance of Real Change and Rebuild and Restore Kenya parties.
Dida, who unsuccessfully contested the presidency in 2013, has picked lawyer, Prof George Wajackoyah as his running mate.
The former teacher vied for the presidency on an Alliance of Real Change party ticket and garnered 52, 848 votes, disappointing seasoned politicians such as Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua.
Yesterday, Dida did not mince words when he called on Kenyans to reject Jubilee and Nasa leaders saying they have failed to bring about change in the country. He said Kenya needs radical transformation with leaders that would prioritise good morals through religious education.
“All these people have been in government and have failed to deliver, what miracle will they perform this time round,” he said. Wajackoyah urged Kenyans to shun tribal politics and vote for servant leaders. “Don’t just look at Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga, there is me and Dida. A chokora (street boy ) and a herdsman,” he said.
