Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i is today expected to announce the students selected to join Form 1 in the 103 national secondary schools across the country.
Matiang’i will also kick off the selection for the students who will join county schools.A total of 942,021 learners who sat their KCPE exam this year are battling out for more than 780,000 secondary school slots.
However, 226,000 candidates who scored below 200 marks may not join secondary schools next year.
Selected students will be expected to report to school on January 9, 2017.
