Kilifi North Member of Parliament Gideon Mung’aro has denied reports that he secretly met former Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) secretary general Ababu Namwamba to discuss plans to join the proposed “third force” party.
He said although he has maintained close ties with the Budalang’i lawmaker, the two did not meet when the latter visited Kilifi recently.
Mung’aro, however, admitted being invited to a meeting, by his Ganze counterpart Peter Shehe, but he could not attend because he had another functions at Kambe and Chumani.
