Delivery of free maternal services in public health facilities in Nyeri is at the verge of hitting a snag after the county government revealed that it has not been reimbursed more than Sh150 million by the National government for the last one year.
Speaking to the media after paying an impromptu visit to Karatina Sub-County Hospital yesterday, Health executive Charles Githinji said the non-remittance of funds could soon paralyse delivery of services. Githinji said that they received the last reimbursement in March last year.
