A fresh stand-off is looming between the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Union - KMPDU and the Kenyatta National Hospital after the referral facility refused to sign a return to work formula as demanded by the union.
The management of the hospital says it cannot sign the document before appending his signature never to a recognition agreement.
The hospital has also insisted that it has no dispute with the doctors who took part in the just concluded strike and has asked them to resume duty, but the union maintains that doctors at the facility will resume duty after the hospital has signed a return to work formula.
