Former Garsen MP and Tana River governor aspirant Danson Mungatana, says he is still firmly in Jubilee after being prevailed upon by his supporters to remain in the party.
He said his reported defection to Amani National Congress (ANC) came after visiting a number of opposition outfits immediately after defection of Tana River Governor Hussein Dado to Jubilee.
The former Assistant Minister said he will now fight it out with his rivals for the Jubilee ticket in the nominations. He stressed that although he had made up his mind to quit JP, he did not register to join any other party despite social media being awash with photos of him clad in ANC branded scarf together with other party officials.
“I did not go to ANC alone, in fact, I also went up to ODM and several other parties but I am still in Jubilee,” he told People Daily on phone.
