CORD leader Raila Odinga pleaded for peaceful electioneering campaigns in the run- up to the August 8th polls only a day after he had heightened political tensions with claims of a plot to rig the polls using the National Intelligence Services.
Odinga who addressed rallies in Likoni and Changamwe in Mombasa before moving to Kwale called for a peaceful contest while expressing his dissatisfaction at the poor turn out of people seeking to register as new voters at the Coast.
