Police in Karatina are desperately searching for a german shepherd police dog that mysteriously went missing from Nyeri central police dog unit.
The canine is said to be very vicious as it is well trained to attack victims and is hence not familiar with roaming free.
Residents are now living in fear as the police comb homes and bushes in search of the dog.
