As drought continues to ravage more than half the country, much has been said about the plight of human life and livestock, but very little has been said regarding wildlife in parks and reserves around the country that has also borne the wrath of harsh mother nature.
According to the Kenya Wildlife Service, KWS, cases have been reported in Wajir, Lamu and other parts of the country where wild animals have succumbed to the pangs of hunger, extreme heat and thirst.
