Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi has called for the scrapping of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
He said the commission has failed to tame runaway corruption in the country, adding that “the whole model has failed.”
The former vice president said EACC has structural problems something that has made it easy for corrupt individuals to infiltrate, manipulate and politicise its activities saying that there was need to think of new ways of tackling corruption.
Corruption level
While speaking during a dinner hosted by the Rift Valley Law Society of Kenya in Nakuru, Mudavadi said corruption had reached unacceptable levels and that Kenyans are being treated to political circus.
Mudavadi aimed a jab at both Jubilee and Cord saying that they have failed Kenyans by engaging in mudslinging at the expense of development.
