Jubilee Party national interim deputy secretary general Caleb Kositany has told delegates not open branch offices until after the party’s national officials are unveiled by its leadership.
He expressed concern over the uncoordinated manner in which some delegates are opening parallel offices and installing themselves as officials without the consent of the national office.
There has been confusion in the Jubilee strongholds as delegates compete to open offices since the party was officially unveiled last month.
Kositany said the party does not recognise any new office opened in counties. “Jubilee Party currently has only one office which is situated in Pangani, Nairobi. That is the only office recognised in the country,” he said.
Addressing journalists in Eldoret town yesterday, Kositany attributed the confusion that has gripped the party to the uncontrolled opening of offices.
