President Uhuru Kenyatta has opened talks with his Somalia counterpart Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud following the ban on Miraa exports from Kenya to the horn of Africa country.
Government spokesman Eric Kiraithe said the two leaders were in direct communication in a bid to seek an amicable resolution to the matter which threatens to destabilize the economy of the Miraa growing area of the larger Meru region.
