A latest opinion poll on possible presidential election outcomes, has put president Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of his political rival and CORD principal Raila Odinga, if elections were to be held today.
Centre For African Progress opinion poll results show that president Uhuru would garner 49.74 percent of the total votes, against Odinga's 41.9 percent
The survey further puts those who are in support of Nairobi senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat at 34 percent, with Dr. Evans Kidero second at 24 percent .
However the methodology used in the polls is been queried as to how pollsters quantify their results, and whether they are swayed by the financial muscle of politicians.
