Members of Western Parliamentary caucus yesterday met to strategise on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s planned visit to the region.
The more than 30 leaders among them Budalang’i MP and former ODM secretary general Ababu Namwamba (pictured) met under the chairmanship of Nambale MP Sakwa Bunyasi at Parliament Buildings to discuss on the region’s political direction.
Bunyasi said the leaders had discussed “the possible political consequences” of the planned visit by the Head of State. But they dismissed claims that they were planning to ditch Cord for Jubilee.
