The Nairobi High Court has stopped an illegal demolition that was going on in Parklands area, where it is alleged that a family has been having wrangles over a piece of land.
Through Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, the court granted him the court order to stop the demolitions until the case is determined in a court of law.
An elderly woman who had been living there for over 50 years, will now continue living there until the case is heard . According to the residents, the land had been sold secretly without her knowledge. she is now demanding to issues to be addressed as she has already lost some of her properties during the demolitions.
